The rounding error that doubled overnight
For years, an electric car was a curiosity in a car park. Then, in three months, Australians bought so many that electric and hybrid cars reached nearly half of new-car sales. Pure-EV sales more than doubled in a single quarter - the largest jump on record. Britain saw the same tilt: a quarter of new cars now run on batteries. Nothing about the cars changed overnight.
